Purusottama Month: The Most Auspicious Time for Spiritual Advancement

The month of Puruṣottama, the most auspicious month in the Hindu calendar, is considered a spiritual super sale! From July 18th to August 16th, 2025, devotees are invited to take part in extra devotional activities and vows, receiving 1000 times the benefit for their spiritual practices.

During this sacred month, all activities related to Lord Kṛṣṇa will bring great rewards. This is the best opportunity to intensify spiritual practices like chanting the holy names of Hare Kṛṣṇa and performing devotional rituals.

Purusottama Month is a special time for spiritual advancement as it offers an unprecedented chance to receive divine mercy from Lord Kṛṣṇa, according to the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and other prominent Ācāryas. Activities for the month include increased worship, extra chanting of the holy names, observing Ekādaśī fasting, and committing to personal vows.

Guidelines and Rituals:

• Extra Devotional Activities: Commit to extra chanting, prayers, and ritualistic offerings to Lord Kṛṣṇa.
• Malpua Offering: At the end of the Purusottama Vrata, devotees are encouraged to offer 33 Malpuas prasadam to a Vaisnava, as part of the concluding rituals. Kalasudha Mataji’s video on making Malpuas will guide participants.
• Key Focus: This month is meant to be used for deepening one’s connection with the Lord and purifying the heart through consistent devotion.
